Course Overview/Aim of the course:
To qualify a Pilot to give Ab Initio Instruction to aspirant Private Pilots
Pre-Course Requirements/Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- 200 hours of Flight time of which 100 hours must be PIC if the holder of a professional license and 150 hours PIC if the holder of a PPL.
- Completed Commercial Pilot theory exams if the holder of a PPL
- 30 hours in Single Engine piston aircraft and 5 hours in the preceding 6 months
- Have passed a pre-entry flight test with a FIC Instructor in the preceding 6 months
Course Syllabus
- 125 hours of ground school covering all the PPL theoretical subjects and the core course of “Teaching and Learning” as well as CRM and TEM.
- 30 hours of Flight training
